At AdaptiveBikes.com, we take pride in providing high-quality recumbent bikes designed for comfort, durability, and accessibility. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your bike or accessory, we are here to help facilitate a return or exchange in accordance with the guidelines below.
Eligibility for Returns

Product return must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order. If 30 days have gone by since delivery, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. If the product is not shipped within 14 days of, if applicable, the Return Authorization Number and/or return label being made available to the customer, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.Â

The item must be in brand-new condition and in its original packaging (including all components, manuals, and accessories).

Restocking fee: A 10% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items. This fee covers the cost of inspecting, restocking, and repackaging the product. The restocking fee does not apply to items returned due to damage or defects upon arrival. Proof of damage or defects discovered on arrival will be requested upon initiation return request, when relevant.
Return Process

Contact Us: If you wish to return an item, reach out to us via the contact form on the website to initiate the return process. Provide your order number, product details, and the reason for the return.

Repackaging: It is your responsibility to repackage the product securely in its original packaging. Please hold onto your carton and packaging materials until you are certain that your bike or accessory fulfills your needs. Items returned without original packaging may be subject to additional fees or may not be eligible for a refund.

Return Shipping: We will cover the cost of return shipping. Once your return is authorized, we will send you a prepaid shipping label. Be sure to attach this label to the outside of the package. You will then need to drop it off at the designated carrier or arrange a pickup.
Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email. Please allow 3-5 business days for inspection of returns. If approved, a refund will be processed, and the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on your bank’s processing times.

The initial shipping charges on your original order are non-refundable, unless return is the result of defects or damages to the product at the time of its delivery.
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different model or size, please follow the return process outlined above. Once we receive the returned product in new condition, we will process the exchange. If the new item costs more than the original, you will be responsible for the difference. In the event the new item costs less after shipping fees, we will refund the difference.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable:

Products that have been used or show signs of wear.

Individually Customized bikes or accessories built to your specific requirements. Exceptions made at Adaptive Bikes’ discretion, please reach out to inquire on exceptions if you believe one may apply in your circumstance.Â

Any final sale items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately via the contact form on the website with your order number and photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or repair at no additional cost to you.
